Per 38 CFR ยง 4.73 DC 5329. Soft tissue sarcomas receive a 100% rating during active treatment and for 6 months after treatment ends. After the 6-month period, rate on residuals (functional impairment of affected tissue/muscle group). A mandatory VA examination is scheduled following the 6-month post-treatment period.
