Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship

Overview

STEM degree programs often require more credits than standard degrees, leaving some veterans unable to complete their education before exhausting GI Bill benefits. The Rogers STEM Scholarship bridges this gap by extending benefits for qualifying students.

Pro Tip: If you're in a STEM field and running out of GI Bill, this scholarship extends your benefits. Science nerds, your country still needs you. And wants to pay for more school.

What You Receive

The scholarship provides whichever comes first:

Benefit Amount
Extended entitlement Up to 9 additional months

Critical Limitation: This scholarship funds undergraduate-level programs only. Graduate degrees do not qualify.

Three categories of programs qualify:

Chief's Take: STEM programs front-load theory courses that don't always apply to your major. You're halfway through your credits before you start the good stuff. This scholarship recognizes that reality and keeps you funded through the finish line.
